Isabel graduated from Willamette University in 2020 with a B.A. in Chemistry with a biochemistry focus.

In the Battle Lab, her work focused on exploring loop-length dependence and binding region overlap of quadruplex sensors as way of optimizing their function.

Isabel is currently living in the United Kingdom and teaching secondary school science through the Teach First program
