Milla graduated from Willamette University with a degree in Chemistry in 2019. Her work in the Battle Lab focused on examining the stability and kinetics of strand exchange in duplex systems with different length toeholds, as well as the effects of divalent cations on the process.

Milla is currently working as a medical scribe while applying to medical school.
